The Challenge

Traveling takes a lot of time, money, planning, and resources in general. Then throw in trying to share it with the world as you go and you can imagine how much work that is! The challenge for this couple was getting all of their social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube Channel, etc.) connected with their blog posts all in one website and brand image that made it easy for followers to be involved and stay connected. They also needed their page to load quickly despite all the 4k photos and videos.

What We Did

The goal of any travel vlogger is to draw traffic to your site. We used SEO keyword research to build their site on the WordPress platform from the beginning making it easy for them to maintain themselves and post blogs to. Not only that but we also used Adobe Bridge and lossless compress to optimize all of their photos on their webpage to increase the overall website load times which is part of Googles Core Algorithm and affects how they rank a website against competitors. We then helped embed their YouTube and social media feeds to their website allowing them to showcase their latest photos and adventures while keeping high quality photos and 4k videos from impacting their websites load speeds! We also integrated a ecommerce page into their website so they could list custom branded appear and gear to help fund their adventures!

What We Achieved

Road Less Trekked saw an increase in followers and were able to snag their very own channel name shortly after on YouTube. They have seen over an increase in organic web traffic to their website within months of launching and continue to see more as time goes on.
