The Challenge

You have a great idea and the means to make it happen, but not a way to push the product to the general public. This was the challenge that the owner of 3D GarageWorks needed to overcome and came to us with. We were eager to take his web ideas, products, and combine them into an ecommerce platform to grow his sales. He had a connection and was making sales through the Vibe kayak company and online forums, but he knew there was a larger market if he had a platform and easy way to list and share his products!

What We Did

By building an ecommerce website from the beginning, we were able to connect his ingenuity with kayak owners across North America. We first realized that his product was unique in its production process and niche, so we focused on a home page that explained the product and it's use first. We then built an e-commerce storefront within the site sticking with his initial branding to help him connect his product with other outdoor adventure retailers. Lastly, we linked his already setup social media pages to his website and created a forum for users to join and discuss the specific kayaks 3D Garageworks products served!

What We Achieved

By building an ecommerce website to grow this brand we were able to help the owner market and share his products to a much wider base which resulted in triple the sales in the second year over his first year in business! With increased awareness and traffic coming to his website combined with ease of purchasing his products this translated into the increase in sales he saw.
